These days there is lots of extra time to dig into old boxes of racing stuff!
I found this from the 1984 Montreal Formula 1 Race. I worked the very first one in 1978 (at what was renamed as Le Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in 1982) as a Race Steward at what is now Turn 3 – October day, very cold and very windy!! 
The next year I was the ASN Event Chief Steward and got to sit inside – much busier but much warmer!! 
From 1980 to 1989 I worked in Race Control as the Deputy Clerk of the Course (AKA Assistant Race Director) and had many amazing experiences that I remember to this day.
Check the names of those I was priviledged to work beside – a veritable ‘who’s who’ of motorsport.
