Ron Woltman, Super Production Challenge new Race Director
The Super Production Challenge Series has formally announced the addition of Ronald Woltman as new Race Director. Woltman brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience, as the Series prepares to take a new direction this season.
“Since our Race Director for the last 7 years announced his retirement, Ron Woltman was the one at the top of the list,” said Dominic St-Jean, President of the Super Production Challenge. “We did not want someone who could just maintain the status quo or simply handle the work; we wanted a true gentleman with experience, someone who knows how to impose respect on track. »
Woltman brings with him a vast array of experience, with more than 30 years as official with CASC-ON series, Super Production Challenge, Honda Michelin and Formula 1600 Esso Protec national series plus the North American Trans-Am Championship. Plus he raced for more then 10 years in Production, Formula 1600, Karting, Stock Car and Solo.
“I am extremely pleased and excited to be part of the Super Production team in the role of Race Director for 2018. Looking forward to meeting all the drivers and team members and being part of this exciting Series. I know I enjoyed working as Race Steward in the past with SPC.”
The Super Production Challenge 2018 season will start June 3rd at Calabogie Motorsport Park.
